Bright eyed with optimism about opportunities to live increasingly healthy, abundant lives while caring for people and planet. Woke folke everywhere are collaborating to design a regenerative future. We are joyed and profoundly grateful to have backers who are stand for the creation of an ultra deck of 260 cards sharing nature's wisdom and gems from so many permaculture pioneers, elders and visionaries. With only a few days to go to hit our minimum goal, we are keeping the faith, taking action, working hard and praying for miracles.
Our favorite permaulture illustrator Brenna Quinlan provided us art for a whole new 'Tools' suite in the deck.
The deck is a toolkit of toolkits sharing so many design methods, frameworks and tools.
Was joyed to zoom with my mentor Looby Macnamara for more advice on the Permaculture Design Deck. Looby's new book 'Cultural Emergence' has been a transformative influence on me. We will be co-facilitating a 2 year advanced permaculture course online for those doing a DIploma or wanting to be on a learning pathway.
Looby Macnamara's visionary wisdom has many facets in the new Permaculture Design Deck.
Also excited to organize a permaculture activation with my mentor permaculture pioneer Robin Clayfield whose visionary work with creative group facilitation has brought endless creativity to my journey. An amazing ally Michael Ney who also lives in Crystal Waters runs Eco Village Voice and is a filmmaker of many interesting projects.

Growing joy from Princeton University Campus where we have come for inspiration to uplift the final week of our crowdfunder. Hoping for a miraculous manifestation of this nature oracle / learning game / design toolkit of toolkits!
We added a new reward tier: TWICE AS NICE - 2 Permaculture Design Decks at an additional savings from the Early Bird price per deck.
If those who are already supporting our Kickstarter upgraded their pledge to include getting a gift for a friend, or helped share this campaign with someone who might be interested, we would get a massive boost towards reaching the minimum goal to bring the 2021 Permaculture Design Deck to life.
Our commitment to backers is that if we can reach or exceed our minimum goal of $9,999 to cover the base card printing, then we will raise the remaining funds to produce the beautiful and sturdy hard shell box with a foil stamped cloth cover, and a booklet sharing ways to play and every backer will get these included with their deck!

Grateful to receive a transmission, mentorship and empowerment from my beloved teacher, Permaculture Pioneer Robin Clayfield from Crystal Waters. She will be contributing a series of new cards to the upcoming Permaculture Design Deck as well as some history of Permaculture principles and the use of cards in permaculture education within the booklet. Joyed to reach a milestone of 58 supporters and $3,300, 1/3 of what we need to reach our minimum goal. We estimate this is about 1/4 of the supporters needed to publish the whole megillah including 260 cards in a beautiful cloth bound box with a booklet on FSC certified recycled paper. Thanks soooo much for being the first wave of people to believe in our vision and help us to manifest it.
Things are evolving rapidly with the deck! Permaculture illustrator Brenna Quinlan made new feature artwork. She shared the following micro-video of her creation process.

The last few weeks I have been taking an online course with my primary mentor Looby Macnara called Cultural Emergence Effective Design which includes many breakthroughs on my learning journey.

Deepest of thanks for supporting our grassroots initiative to create a Permaculture Design Deck. We are off to a steady start and optimistic to make great progress over the weeks to come.
Joyed by a recent pilgrimage to Laughing Rock Farm to visit with herbalist grandmother Susun Weed.
Touched to learn more from a wise woman who lives so close to the Earth's medicine. Honored to include a new set of Grounded Gardening Principles to the 2021 edition of the permaculture design deck.
Excited to have gotten a new artwork from Brenna Quinlan to help take the deck to a new level.
Inspired by how the new design is taking shape. The artful, simple and zen style of text and layout is a level up for the deck!
As an indirect part of our campaign we launched a short micro-video with Rob Hopkins.
Deepest of thanks for being on the journey with us. Through our collaborative efforts, this meaningful new learning resource will be out in the world as a free download and beautifully bold printed deck.
